Minimum qualifications may be relaxabe for those working in organizations like Archaeological Survey of India, State Departments of Archaeology,Museums. b) 2-year (i) Master in Archaeology and Heritage Management, (ii) Master in Conservation, Preservation and Heritage Management. Eligibility : B.A./B.Sc. in History, Archaeology, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Botany, Geology, Anthropology, Art History, Museology and other related subjects Or, B.E./B.Arch/B.Town Planning or equivalent Degree. Selection is made on the basis of entrance test.

SCHOOL OF ARCHIVAL STUDIES,

National Archives of India offers a 8-week Short Term Certificate Course in Reprography by the school of Archival Studies, for non-sponsored candidates only. It is a full-time course. Eligibility : A candidate should be second class graduate from a recognized university, preferable in science. He should be well conversant with English language and be below 50 years of age. (a) 2-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Archaeology. Eligibility : Master's Degree in Ancient or Medieval Indian History from a recognized University or equivallent. Or M.A/M.SC. with Archaeology or Anthropology from a recognized University. Applicat should have obtained 55% marks (50% in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates).Qalifications are relaxable in case of candidates who are already in an archaeological service or have done recognized archaeological research or field work.Upper Age : 27 years.

NATIONAL MUSEUM INSTITUTE OF HISTORY OF ART,
Conservation and Museology (Deemed University), Janpath, New Delhi 110011. Following courses are offered :

1. M.A. (History of Art). Eligibility: B.A. in History of Art, Fine Arts, History, Archaeology, Sociology, Anthropology, Philosophy, Literature Classical languages.
2. M.A (Conservation & Restoration of Works of Art). Eligibility : B.Sc. with Chemistry or Physics as one of the main subjects or B.F.A.
3. M.A (Museology).Eligibility : B.A. in any branch of humanities e.g. History of Art, Archeology, Fine Arts, Anthropology or in any academic subject related to Museum Collections or Diploma in Museology.
4. Ph.D. (History of Art). Eligibility : Master Degree or M.Phil. in Histiory or Art. Ancient or Medieval Histiory & Culture, Anthropology, Archaeology, Aesthetics.
5. Ph.D. (Conservation & Restoration of Work of art). Eligibility : Masters degree in conservation of works of Art or M.Sc. in relevant field or M.Phil. Candidates admitted in Ph.D. with M.Sc.degree have to qualify courses of M.A. (conservation) of NMIHACM.
6. Ph.D. (Museology) Eligibility : M.A in Museology/Museum Studies or its equivalent and knowledge of any classical or foreign language.


Candidates applying must have good academic record. For Post Graduate studies they will have to appear for an examination
