1 cup oil 11/2 vinegar 2-3 tsp pickle masala powder (click here) 1 tsp hing powder (asafoetida) 1/2 tsp haldi powder (turmeric) table salt to taste METHOD Apply salt to brinjal and fry in half the oil. Drain and keep aside. Now add the remaining oil and fry the rest of the ingredients. Cool and mix with brinjal. Add enough salt and bottle.
