Vivekananda Rock

Kanyakumari is a tourist spot and a pilgrimage centre. The Gandhi Mandap and the Vivekananda rock are the main attractions of this place. The foot prints of the goddess Kanyakumari can be seen on a rock called Sreepadappara. A magnificant statue of Swami Vivekananda built is traditional Indian architecture was erected on the Mandapa. The meditation room is a spectacular feature where we can practise spiritual peace.
